at home

Wonderful thing for Friday and Saturday: Our home.  How 'bout that?  I like the place.  We finally have it looking like a home, feeling a bit like a home.  Pics on the walls, furniture set here and there...I spent a good amount of time (besides making two pumpkin cakes) calling GANS individually to make sure they know that our weekly "serata" will now be held at our house instead of at the church Sunday evenings.  I REALLY hope they all come.  We're reinstating the program the way it's supposed to be; Blaine and I will do the program the first couple of weeks, then start assigning others to do the lesson.  Tomorrow, a lesson on "Seek ye first the kingdom of God".  Never out of style, so to speak.

Fun thing:  I never thought I'd say this, but when I realized we'd have to make yet another trip to IKEA, I groaned.  If I never see the inside of another IKEA, I won't be sorry.  I'll definitely be seeing the inside of IKEA several times, but I just think that's funny.  I used to think IKEA was the definitive house decor destination.  Now it's just a large and spacious building.
